The best LEGO robot of 2013Jan 19, 2013
For the MSRP of $9.99, you get:
- Kai (no shoulder piece)
- Stone Archer with quiver and crossbow (black arms - the same one from Garmatron, but different than the one from Golden Dragon which has red arms)
- Mech Suit
The robot has 8 movable joints and reminds of the A.P.U. mech suit from The Matrix. The right hand has 4 movable fingers for equipping the flame sword, which can also be detached to fit the hands of Kai and other minifigures. The left hand is static with "missiles" that cannot be flicked/fired. Does come with stickers.
I'm impressed by the details, playability, and sturdiness of the robot. LEGO introduced 3 robots so far in 2013 - this, Lloyd's from Temple of Light, and TMNT Baxter Robot Rampage, and frankly, for a quarter of the price of the latter you get a huge bang for your buck.
Enthusiastically recommended, although Amazon (not a third party) is currently selling this for above MSRP. Not sure what is going on and I do hope that this does not become a trend.

Prefect size and priceMar 09, 2013
This set is awesome with 2 Ninjago characters (Kai and scout) plus the robot. My 5-1/2 son can manage to build all 102 pieces by himself. This set is so playful and affordable. I wish Lego makes more of set like this one and keeps at this price range! This set is a MUST have for all Ninjago fans regardless of the age!!! Great job to Lego's Ninjago designers.

Awesome for its size and price pointMar 03, 2013
This set is a good value for money. You get two minifigs plus a fully posable mech that Kai or any other minifig can ride. The posable fingers are also quite cool and are an unexpected feature for such a small set.

Great Lego set for a great price. The kids were able to assemble it quickly and use it with the other Ninjago pieces.
AwsomeMay 14, 2013
This set is really neat and is worth the price, unlike a lot of lego sets these days. It's features are a little stone army guy, movable limbs, one arm with a fire launcher and the other with a hand that holds the fire sword.
